ITOC5 is pleased to announce the introduction of a
Young Researcher Session

How to apply for inclusion of your abstract in the Young Researcher Session
(NOTE: Abstract submission for the ITOC5 Conference is now closed, application is not possible anymore!)

All young scientists submitting for oral presentations are encouraged to apply by ticking the corresponding box in the “Topic Step” during submission.
The applicant must be first author (i.e. presenting author) of an abstract submitted for spoken presentation and should not have more than five years of postdoctoral experience (<35 years) and cannot be an established Principal Investigator (P.I.). Predoctoral students are also welcome to apply.
Please make sure to upload your short CV in the dedicated step during abstract submission. Failure to submit your CV means that your abstract cannot be considered for this session.

For authors of abstracts accepted for the oral Young Researcher Session ITOC5 offers:
– a contribution towards travel expenses in the amount of up to EUR 500.-
– a free participation at the conference

The best scored abstracts, which could not be selected for oral presentation will automatically compete for the ITOC5 Poster Awards.
